SPW was out in force for our city's annual Winter Holiday Event. Once again our poinsettia sale was a huge success. Shavano Park Women also assisted with children's arts and craft activities.
This outstanding family-friendly event had lots of activities including: a cookie decorating contest, face painting, caricature and balloon artists. Children and adults enjoyed playing in the snow. Entertainment was provided by Blattman cheerleaders and choir. There was also a performance by a magician. Santa and the Grinch made a grand entrance. The culmination of the event was the lighting of the Christmas tree. Our city really knows how to throw a party!
