Our 2022 Bras & Boxers donation drive to benefit Haven for Hope is complete! From the beginning of March to the end of May, we collected 369 bras and 164 boxers. Thank you for making this donation drive a success and for giving a small amount of dignity to someone experiencing homelessness. When Haven for Hope picked up the donations we learned they have 1,700 people staying at their facility on any given day with 300 being children under 18 years old. The average stay is 4 months. We asked how else SPW could help. After bras and boxers, their greatest need is incontinence supplies (adult briefs). They prefer adult diapers that you can pull up but also can use the ones with tabs. SPW decided to help them with the endeavor. We collected incontinence adult briefs through July 18, 2022.
