On October 1st, the Shavano Park Women hosted another successful blood drive for the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center at the Shavano Park City Hall. A total of 15 units of blood was collected which can save up to 45 lives. We cannot thank the individuals enough who took time out of their busy lives to donate blood. They are true heroes.
Additionally, a big thank you to the local businesses who generously donated gifts that were given to the donors as a token of appreciation. Local businesses who donated and supported the success of the blood drive were:
