Wildscape Garden Tour at Phil Hardberger Park & Lunch at Renzo's Trattoria E Pizzeria

We will meet at the Phil Hardberger Urban Ecology Center at 9:45. This is the park entrance off NW Military. Come in the entrance & drive to the back where you will see buildings. The parking lot is right there.

Our tour will be lead by Evelyn Penrod & Patsy Kuentz, 2 of the Master Naturalists who created the garden & continue to care for it. Denise Gross, Executive Director of the Phil Hardberger ParkConservancy, will share information about the conservancy’s role in the park & how you can participate. 

The garden is a short walk from the Phil Hardberger Urban Ecology Center on a level trail. Recommended: walking shoes.

Lunch will follow the tour at Renzo's Trattoria E Pizzeria. Located at: 4323 N. Loop 1604 W

Renzo's is a straight shot from the park heading north on NW Military Hwy. Turn left onto the access road after going under 1604. Turn right into the Living Spaces parking lot and Renzo’s will be in the left side strip center.

ENTREE CHOICES: (choose one)

1) Spaghetti Bolognese (classic meat sauce)

2) American Baguette w/rustic potatoes or salad (smoked ham, bacon, tomato, arugula, Mozzarella, gouda, mayo & Dijon

3) Renzo’s Salad (spring mix, cherry tomatoes, apples, strawberries, blueberries, nuts, gorgonzola, & balsamic dressing

4) Chopped Caesar Salad w/Chicken (Romaine, Parmesan, croutons, traditional homemade anchovy & egg dressing

DESSERT TARTLET: choose one (these are just a small bite to please our sweet tooth after lunch)

1) Fresh berries

2) Banana

3) Nutella

Lunch is $21 and includes 1 entree, 1 tartlet, Renzo’s delicious bread, tea, coffee & water along with tax and gratuity. Send checks to Melonae Day by October 23rd. Lunch is optional but we hope to see you there!
